Just got this in the mail on Friday but haven't had a chance to install it yet.

It's very nicely made with a high, smooth polish to the whole part. My rifle came with a different aftermarket guide installed, no idea what make it is. That part is considerable rougher in finish with toolmarks on the round section that you can feel with your fingers. The Rauch piece has some small marks from handling, not production. They may have been made when I dropped it. Honestly, I didn't see them until I looked at the pics. Can't wait to try it out!

It's great to see another Canadian made product on the market.

Try this w.w.w.rauchtactical.com and let me know what the trick is to view their poducts.

LOL no trick. The site will have products listed as soon as the rest of our line is at the production stage, which should be in the fall sometime. Right now samples are going out to certain CGNs so that they can be tested, evaulated and all the rest of the market can judge the product while we ramp up to production.

This piece is gonna retail for $39.99 and is made of 303 stainless in a fully certified aerospace shop so the quality of the machining is fantastic.

Expect to see these products in the inventories of fine retailers across Canada and around the world :D.

when is the new front sight coming...

Here's some comparison shots with the one that my rifle came with.

The RT one (top one) is a hair shorter OAL and has a higher polish on all surfaces.

RT guide has shorter tapered section.

Note the obvious tool-marks in the unknown guide.
