Just received my Bulldog brake, peep sight and stock adapter - the quality is fantastic! Very pro. Thanks Sean for the great products and fantastic service.

Brake was east to put on of course and looks sweeet.

Swapping out the factory rear sight with the new peep for the first time was a bit more of a chore. That is one tough spring to push down on to release the sight. The cylindrical button thingy (newb) needed a bit more force to slide on initially (compared to the stock sight) as you can see by the minor chipped paint finish on the upper left side of the ladder. Got her on tho (and slides freely) and I do like the new sight picture over the factory notch.

Now I'm just waiting on my CTR stock from Brownells and I can sight her in =)

BTW if you're wondering what gun tool / tactical device that is in the top right corner of the last pic it's my 2 year old's toy ice cream cone. Haha!

I just installed the Gen 2(?) Rauch Tactical stock adaptor on my CZ8584V with a milspec buffertube and SOPMOD stock. MUCH better than the old version.

-the piece that the receiver extension/buffer tube reads into is much thicker
-better thread pitch on the machine screws, won't allow the screws to strip as easily.
-4 positions vs. 2 positions on the old adaptor. Neither fit me perfectly on the old one so I had to make a cheek riser out of speaker insulation, no longer needed. Aesthetically this is better as it looks like the stock is more in line with the bore.
-sling loops on both sides. Normally I run my sling thru the back of m4 stocks or an ASAP plate , but I'll give it a whirl on the receiver end plate for a bit.
-Different finish. Old one was parkerized, this seems to be a thicker more protective coating.

Will add more and upload some pictures shortly.

Big_Red, which of the 4 vertical positions did you install your stock at? Are you using irons? I understand face shape plays a big part too.

Stainage, looks real nice. Can't believe its that sunny and the winter olympics have yet to happen. I am waitin for a recent order from Rauch. I'll post pics of the Fab. Def., NEA, RAUCH, DLASK, Combo when I get it all together. Hundreds of combos to be had- love these guns, and suppliers that make it happen

Yes, Thanks Sean for your hard work on the Stock adaptor and peep sights, and NEA's work on the handguards.

Here is a look through the peep sights.

I'm glad you posted the last picture because it shows how it can be used for CQB type shooting. Just match up the front sight circular shape with the peep hole and you will hit your target regardless of where the front post is. Its significantly faster then the factory notch type sight but not distracting when using it in conjunction with a dot type optic.

Is it advisable to loctite the screws once I'm satisfied with the vertical position of the stock?

Yes very much so. Once you have everything where you want it loctite all the screws down.

First thing you should do is loctite the thread adapter in place, then locktite the adapter place screw in place.

As always remember that torque on the screw doesn't replace loctite, thread it till the screws bottom out then give it another 1/8th of a turn. The loctite will do the rest.

Cheers,

Sean
