Wow, so thats what pre spelling reform high german looked like. I did a double take first glance :p - If anyone wants stuff translated, I'd be happy to do it... I have finals coming up and I could justify this as studying.

All it says is that if your sight is set to 400m, these are the amounts you'll be off if you shoot at the listed distances. My German is horrid, so I'm not sure where the bit about the MG 08/15 fits in??

Okay, time to expose my ignorance:

What the hell is a 6 o'clock hold?

I have no frigging clue.

I have figgered out how to get my Yugo K-98 to shoot aright at 100m, though. I just about bury the flipping front post so I can hardly see it in the sight picture, and whammo. Kinda sucks having to do that, though.

"6 o'clock hold" is when you hold the front sight at the bottom of the target. IE: if you're shooting at a 12" round bullseye target, you'd hold at the bottom edge of the bull, at the 6 o'clock postion as opposed to having your point of aim equal point of (intended) impact.

^^
That's the way I shoot any v-notch style rifle. It's called a low-point bead or at least thats what I call it. Seems more precise to me than trying to line the front post up with the top edge or exact middle of the notch... but then again maybe I'm doing it wrong.
