From what I can see it does look legit.
I've seen pics of all matching rifles where the metal and stock are marked with a deaths head but not just the stock - the answer is simple - the stock doesn't match the rifle because it is an RC - which means someone might have the barreled receiver (I know there are at least 4x examples of legit SS RC captured rifle in the US).
There are fake stamps out there - but again - why would the Russian's do this. Then again there were some rifles from Marstar with debated markings and also some SVT's that have popped up as well.
The only SS rifles I've seen in Canada are RC's that have the single Rune and some of those were imported from the US.
