73C181C9-8A26-43E3-8BFB-DC081D85A110.jpgI recently purchased an old set of RCBS 35-375 reloading dies. My thinking was they would make 350 griffin and howe brass. However that is not what they ended up making. The case ends up being a blown out 375 h&h that is shorter to the shoulder than both the 358 sta and the 35 ackley improved mag but longer than the 358 norma. Any help to what on earth these are making would be appreciated

The one im unsure of is the one with the shortest measurement to the shoulder. The other ones are a 358 sta and a 35 ackley improved

35-375 H&H is just that, the parent case necked down to .358 diameter, the shoulder should stay in the same place, and maintain the same shoulder angle, all that has changed is the neck diameter, this is really no different then the 6mm-223 rem of 6mmx45mm case, Dave Kiff has the reamer print I am sure, and I've seen a few Sako rifles chambered in this wildcat cartridge

350 Rigby is also a lot bigger in case diameter. The case im trying to figure out uses a 375 h&h as a parent case

It's actually not. You can make .350 Rigby by turning the belts off .375 H&H cases. .416 Rigby is much bigger, but it's a totally different case, though they look similar.

Thats interesting to know. I had assumed a 350 Rigby would use the 416 as a parent case. I learnt something new today.
Now if i can just figure out what these dies i have are making i’ll be set
