Mine came with a manual, read the one in the link above. If you cant get it working the scale is either broken or ..........
I'll send you $25 for your 5-0-5, if interested give me a P.M.![]()
Thinking that a beam scale is more accurate than a digital scale is just as erroneous as thinking a digital scale is more accurate than a beam scale...
Well i still couldnt get it to work even after reading the instructions. But then i realized i didnt have the pan on there so thats why i couldnt get it zero
. Ya so i set it to what i wanted for powder and trickled it in and all is good. I still think im gonna get and electric to see how close i am. But then i tried to press in some bullets into some 22-250 and it pushed them right through. So i back the die out and it didnt go through but i need to get a new battery for my caliper as it died last nite. Thanks for the help
maybe read some books and save a life.
You say you have the Speer manual. If it is number 14, please read pages 90-98, several times before you touch anything else. Very clear, concise info on charging, and bullet seating. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BLOW UP A RIFLE, MESSING UP THESE STEPS IS THE REASON IT WILL HAPPEN.
I believe I was on here reading, for about 7 months, and had read cover to cover the Speer and Nosler Manuals at least 4-5 times each before I even un-packed my press. We are talking about 50-65,000 psi, inches away from your face here. It is very important that you know what you are doing. Any accident reloading reflects poorly on all of us. We want you to reload, and we want you to be very successful in the endeavor, please take the time and effort to help us help you.
I hope I don't sound like an ass, but I am concerned. I do believe that you sound to be an intelligent person, it just seems you are taking a very serious thing, more lightly than it should be taken.
