So I've really wanted to be reloading for years. My buddy has a hornady progressive setup already and does my reloading for me.

It is now time to get my own kit. I would like to get a press that will do everything single stage, no desire to go progressive. i'm considering the RCBS Ammomaster 2.

It will be for 9mm, .223, .308 currently ...and bigger stuff later on .338 lapua and the .50bmg:D

Opinions?

The Ammomaster is an excellent press and easily handles anything including 50 BMG.
The only negative is the price.
I also use a Lee Classic Cast and it is heavy enough and plenty strong for loading 50 as well, not to mention a lot less costly.
The opening on the Lee is a bit smaller than the Ammomaster, but still adequate for 50 or 338 Lapua which I load on it.

Thanks for your input. I'll look into the Lee Classic Cast. I don't mind spending a little more on my setup, I intend to have it for a long time.

My original idea was to go with team RCBS for my entire setup. Digital scale and RCBS dies.
