RCBS bullet seating plug for 45-70 spitzer bullet

I'm loading up some 300 gr. Barnes spitzer bullets but need a different bullet seating plug. Anyone know where I can get a spitzer seating plug ?

However you can get by easily, by taking a regular plug for a 375 seater, and screwing it into your 458 die.

Thanks Ted, I emailed the Western Canada supplier. Hopefully they will have something. I had a 375 H+H die set a few years ago but the bullet seater looked totally different IIRC

You are correct, of course. The 458 uses a three die set, and the seatet is totally different.

I have switched seating stems a few times when using cast lead bullets in bottleneck cases, and jumped too quick in answering you.
