Does anybody know where one of these beasts can be had in this country. SIR and Wholesale Sports sell the scales but not the combo kit with the dispenser. The have them all over south of the border, however the usual bulls##t getting it over here exists as if I were buying an A-10 Warthog or some such thing
 
There are no restrictions on powder scales from the USA. I bought my Chargemaster Combo from south of the border with no problems at all. Here is my post from January this year:

Hi Guys, it arrived today so it took 13 days to get here and it was opened by Canada Customs. So, I had to pay $21.20 for GST and $5.00 for the handling fee for a total of $26.20 plus $337.03 previously charged for a grand total of $363.23 to my door. Not bad at Wholsesale Sports it would have cost me $492.15 with tax only, then I would have to add shipping or $40.00 for gas to drive to Edmonton and back, so I saved at least $130.00 buying it from Midsouth Shooters Supply in the USA.

I have the DPS 1200 2 and to tell the truth it is no where near as bad as that article makes it out to be.

In truth it is fast enough that by the time I seat a bullet in a charged case the next load is ready to be dumped. How much more speed is required?

As for the supposed "difficult emptying" problem the truth is that if you have normal amounts of hand-eye coordination it takes about 20 seconds to empty the unit after you are finished with it. The optional computer connection is also very nice.
