RCBS Chargemaster Combo vs RCBS Chargemaster Lite

My Chargemaster combo worked great for a long time. Now it either works or doesn't.

I just bought the lite. For stick it is perfect. For pistol using fine powders it is occasionally finicky.

I would recommend the lite. Less extras that you won't use.

I want to see how little a charge I can run in my 1911 and still cycle so I fired up the chargemaster last night and gave it a try. I'm definitely a fan, huge time saver over the old scoop and weigh method.

I was apprehensive at first but after reading the reviews and adjusting for stick powder I love this thing

For the CM1500 from RCBS, there is a gunnut on here who makes a reducer bushing for these units.
The results is slightly slower to weigh out each charge, but more accurate, with next to no over
charges, even with coarse extrudeds. His handle on here is: laurencen
I have 2 CM 1500's on my bench, and have the reducer in both. It works well.
FWIW, I really like the Chargemaster 1500. Eagleye.
