RCBS Chargemaster Dispenser & Scale

I bought mine 4 years ago from the USA and the keypad went bad on it after the warranty was up , I called RCBS and they had me mail it back and they replaced it with a newer auto-dispense model for free. Even if they didn't replace it I would have bought another one right away.

I'll get to try out their customer service soon. Mine freezes up, won't run through the whole calibration sequence, sometimes fails to register the number I punch and the "Made in China" sticker taunts me. Still works, (If you call that working) and I check the scale with check weights so I'm kinda- sorta in the game. This spooks me though, it's not the old RCBS warranty we all know and love.

They dident even ask when I bought mine , just send it in .

I too have had mine replaced twice. Once for keypad problem, once for a drive problem. Both times unit was replaced with new. I load 5-7 thousand rifle cart. a year.
I use 2 chargemasters at a time, filling a case while 1 machine refills. Also cross weigh to check weights. Never more than .1 diff. Still use the powder measue for .45 and .357, but all rifle goes thru the RCBS. Mark

Mine just died this last weekend. So I phoned up RCBS and asked what to do told the fellow I was from Canada. Now read the next part carefully this is just about verbatum what I was told to do.

"Freak'n A" You gotta like that kinda warranty
That just ensures my wise choice in an RCBS product!!

Lots of great feedback here about both the product and NatchezSS so mine's on the way; I cannot wait for it to arrive!

Anyone that shoots over 500 yards have good luck with the loads they've made with this thing?

shooting any distance is load development, this thing wont give u miracle loads it will give you exactly what you tell it to... either way is worth having!

if you plan on seating the current bullet in the case while the CM1500 dispenses your next charge i would recomend very very sturdy bench or have them on separate benches.. with my ghetto bunch i can get the scale to fluctuate .5 of a grain just by running the press (noticed this when the scale was on but befor i dispensed the first charge ever from it)

I tried mine out for the first time lastnite, I loaded up some 7mm WSM. WOW!!!!!!
WHY THE HECK DID'NT I GET ONE THESE WAAAYYYYYY BACK WHEN???
For Sure The Cats A$$!!!! My best buy thus far!!

Thanks,i just orered one.should be here next week.any problems with setup

set up is super easy! just read the instructions.. just remember to calibrate every time and u will be good to go, it coulndnt be any simpler, altho i dont personally use the memory option.. since its just as easy to write down the poweder/gn/bullet type as it is to write down "memory number X for powder XY and bullet ZX"

I love my Chargemaster!!!

Amazing piece of reloading gear! You really can't appreciate how great it is until you get one then you'll inevitably kick yourself for not getting it sooner!

Regards,

Huntsman they are amazing machines. RCBS just replaced mine under warranty. I was without one for two weeks and had to go back to a balance beam. That is when you really appreciate the Chargemaster. Great piece of kit.

Take Care

Bob
