RCBS Chargemaster or Lyman 1200 or other??

I love my Lyman 1200 DPS3. Its plenty fast for me and very easy to maintain and clean out. Got it for a pretty decent deal off of the EE even. I used a buddy's for a few months before making the purchase but this has definitely sped up the process and I don't know how I ever survived without it!

have a chargemaster and love it, but a couple months ago it went unresponsive. I really have to get a new one from rcbs. I heard its easy for the warranty part.

its a slow part of the year for reloading for me, but doing it the old fashioned way is tough after doing it the chargemaster way

same thing with the power case prep and power trimmer. tough to go back

I would say about the same, it depends on the type of powder aswell, fine throws better, faster. Not a big deal to throw a few back in the hopper. Adding the McDonalds straw sure helped with trickles..

I see Natchez has the RCBS on for $300 plus you get $50 back from RCBS. Should be able to get one to the door for well under $400 CAD.

The Hornady looks exactly like the RCBS, which makes me wonder if they're made by the same factory.

I've had the Lyman DPSII with the speed upgrade for about 10 years now, and it's still going strong. Works great and is easy to use. My only complaint is that it isn't as easy to swap powders as it is in the Hornday or RCBS.

I've had a Lyman 1200 for about 5 years now and have had to send it back for warranty work twice!!
If I were you, I would just get the RCBS charge masters right out of the gate. I will be replacing my Lyman with one over the next couple months.
