Rcbs collet bullet puller?

I HAVE BOTH PULLERS
I PREFER THE RCBS I pull ,224, .308, ,243'S, AND 7MM'S.
I also have a kinetic that I made using a 3/4 inch piece of tubing that I welded a handle on it.
I use a shell holder to hold the inverted bullet, cheap and it works

The inertial pullers last much longer if you hammer onto a piece of wood, on the grain end. A piece of firewood or chunk of 4 x 4 works well.

Will second that. I think they work better, too, if you hammer on the end grain.

I was trying to pull something -- I don't remember now what it was -- and it just would not let go even after a dozen whacks on my concrete floor. One or two whacks on the end grain of a 2×4, though, and the bullet popped right out.

I tried it multiple times with all the rounds I was pulling: either far too many whacks on concrete or no go at all on concrete; just one or two whacks on wood.

I think it may have to do with bounce. The impact puller bounces off the concrete, while the impact on wood is more a like a dead blow.

Finally got the die and collet. Works like a charm! Very intuitive to use. Doesn't deform the bullet either. I'd buy it again!

I found the same, having just picked up one myself. Setup is quick amd it is very fast once you have a technique down andI don't see how it could ever break, unlike what I've heard of the Hornady one

I just got rid of my kinetic puller for an RCBS collet puller. The kinetic was fine for pulling one or two bullets here and there, but if you have to pull any number of bullets then the collet puller is worth the money. I recently had to pull about 80 bullets due to some brass resizing issues. I took one look at my kinetic, then drove to the store and picked up the collet puller. Worth it.
