Back when I first started reloading I got a case stuck in the .308 resizing die.I forgot to put enough lube on the case and it got stuck and I ripped the rim off the case.
I took the screws off the top of the die and pounded the case out with a hammer,I bent the decapping rod and mutilated the expander ball in the process.
I called RCBS and told them what I did to remove the stuck case and asked them how much for a new decapper and expander ball assembly. They sent me everything I needed to fix the boo boo for free even though they were aware that I "bent" the assembly.:D

yeah, they're the best, I bent my primer pocket swager rods (totally my fault), and gave Paul Simms (RCBS's local guy) a call explaining that it was totally my fault. Regardless, three weeks later, no charge a set is in my mailbox. Great company and they get all my reloading business as a result.

Had problems with 505 powder measure I had bought in 70s called them they sent me a PO # and told me to send to Ohaus Scales cost me postage one way came back in 2 weeks like new N/C.

The last time I talked to the customer rep, I told her that I have 22 sets of RCBS dies,so occasionally I will need parts. She said, no problem, call back whenever you need something. I have called them so any times over the years that I expect them to know me by name.:D
So now I don't own anything but RCBS equipment.

(update) Called Hornady, she asked my zip code (fail) so we did it by last name, found me, confirmed my part number and address and said they should have it in the mail tomorrow.

Not to hijack, just sharing my warranty issue.

My experience with RCBS was also great... I lost a few parts to my Uniflow powder thrower during a move due to my own stupidity, and the sent the replacement parts to me for free, even though they knew I lost them.

I did that many moons ago with my 243 and got replacement parts free.

The last two times I called for the chuck assembly replacement for the bullet remover (green hammer). I received them within one week. Their 1-800 number was hard to get through during the X'mas time.

RCBS customer service is second to none!

I think you will will find most reloading companies will give outstanding service. We have only tested Lyman and Dillon so far but both have either repaired or replaced items without any complaint or delay. Phil.
