For whatever reason the thread on the shaft of my expander ball decided to strip. As a consequence, the de-capping pin would get wobbly and I had to keep trying to tighten it. I took a pic and sent it to RCBS along with an explanation of the problem. They were fantastic! They contacted me very shortly after receiving the email, and sent me a new shaft complete with the pin and ball. The only hold up was the US custom laws, so that delayed the delivery for a few weeks, but the service tech I dealt with was great. I told them I just needed a new shaft, but they sent me the complete unit and 5 extra de-capping pins all at no charge. That's what I call good customer service.

Have the laws around dies, etc. changed recently - i.e. new ITAR restrictions on reloading gear? I purchased some new dies from Sinclair about a year ago, and it was just the usual shipping time from there to here (about 10 days from purchase to arrival).

The reason I purchase their products.
Just good old fashion courteous service.
Too bad about the border crossing delays.
Not their fault and I humbly support them.

You pay a bit extra for that warrantee, but it's worth every cent. Applies to kit you may buy used too.
Sent 'em a letter, eons ago, asking where I could get decapping pins. Got a package of 'em and a list of dealers about 3 weeks later.
