Hey,

Does anyone know where I could pickup some headed pins? Bought this decapping die from WSS about 2 weeks ago, and the pin has now broken after doing about 200 rounds (if that). Prettty ticked off.

I have looked @ WSS in Calgary & TSE, without any luck. If anyone knows where I could pick some help, please let me know@!

Thanks,

Mac

Did the same, sort of: emailed, no email back for 2 days. Called, explained the situation, guy sent me 10 new headed pins. Got an email later that afternoon from another person @ RCBS, that they had sent 5 my way...Looks like I will soon have a bit of a surplus!

Thanks to all those who responded!

A certain gentleman that will remain nameless from the Edmonton North WSS suggested to me when I broke mine that I use a finishing nail (uncoated) with the point/tip cut off to the right length instead.

I'll be damned...and it's still in my die and working. If you want the proper replacement then by all means order more. But in a pinch it does work....

Is this what WSS is resorting to in order to get some inventory? You go in to buy decapping pins and you get bastardized finishing nails? What next, you go there to buy some projectiles and they sell you scrap metal from the junk yard?
