I need a .223 expander ball...that holds the decapping pin

I just bought a used set of .223 dies...they came with spare decapping pins, guess a couple were broke on crimped primer brass.
Long story short, the expander split and I need a new one.

The RCBS sight won't ship the part to me in Canada and they haven't answered my email...

I emailed the guy in BC 2 days ago that they list as the Western Canada connection but no response there so far either...

Where do I find parts?

I'm starting to think I should have kept my Hornady .223 dies

Did you actually try calling RCBS, or just email them? If you haven't called them and talked to someone in person, do that and see what they say.

http://www.rcbs.com/general/ask.aspx Usually when you fill this out about something being broken the next day they reply saying we sent you a new one in the mail.

If you ask to buy stuff they won't sell it so they don't cut into their Canadian distrubutors territory/business. Warranty as above is a different story.

Just be patient.,it took almost 7 weeks to receive my 7.5x55 seater .RCBS is top notch with their customer service, but you have to realize than they like all other reloading dealers in the US are being swamped with requests.

I used that link...still no reply.
no matter, I'm old school and would rather talk to a person than poke keys.

By the time I saw this post, you had things under control. I could have sent you an expander ball from a 22.250 die. I bought a set of dies and the inside of the sizing die had a horrible scratch that will not allow its use. I am sure it would work but since you have 3 on the way I will keep it for now.

The threads on my 30-30 die's expander ball pulled out and I sent in a message Friday to their 'ask rcbs' message thing about it.

Do they normally respond to those or just send you the part?

RCBS like most firearms businesses have excellent customer service EXCEPT for that RCBS "rep" in B.C. He's utterly useless - unless you want him to look in a phone book and tell you where dealers are located in major cities....hey, there's a Wholesale Sports in Edmonton - why don't you try them. RCBS should be thoroughly embarrassed by this guy and I hope to hell they're not paying him.
