Came across these things and think they are kind of interesting:

RCBS page: http://rcbs.com/Products/Case-Preparation/Accessories/Lube-Dies.aspx

RCBS instrucitons PDF: http://rcbs.com/RCBS/media/RCBSMedia/PDFs/Instructions/English%20(EN)/Lube_Die_Instructions.pdf

There are four sizes of lube die. Each is a multi-calibre decapping die with a felt liner or wick that holds lube.

Anyone use them? What do you think of them?

Never knew they existed until now! Looks cool and sure would cut down on the mess. Hope someone here has used one and chimes in with a report.

I place my cases in a large zip lock bag and spray them with a home made case lube of lanolin and alcohol. I then zip the bag shut and squeeze the bag to spread the case lube. The alcohol dries leaving a very thin coating of lube. (cheap bastards Dillon case lube);)

Been using one for my 223/5.56 reloads on a pro2000 progressive. Really speeds things up, just keep it topped up and feed it clean brass. Definitely happy with mine.

I've never noticed them up to now. They would be a solution to problem I didn't know I had, but I can see they might be useful on a progressive loading machine.

I just throw the cases and lube into a baggie and shake to distribute the lube. This works fine for both straight and bottleneck cases.

Ok for relatively low volume reloading. I can see where a lube station might be helpful on a progressive machine loading high volume bottleneck cartridges. But like you, I don't have any need for it.
