RCBS Matchmaster Dispenser vs Autotrickler V3

I watched the video of the Matchmaster and the Fx-120 - shooting result show they are similar with even a slight edge for the RCBS.

Is this level of precision and cost necessary ? I am not convinced. Depending on someone abilities, my guess is most people won’t see a difference on target. I am sure there is a level of shooter that can..but for most it is a waste of money.

If you do case competition prep and weight sorting - use custom bullets and have the shooting system and skill, I understand you want one.

Agreed. If you're not competing I feel the RCBS Chargemaster is a great product for the dollar. Accuracy to .1 grains and plenty fast for most of us.
Just my .02...

I have a chargemaster for the last 17 years. Soon I'll have my Autotrickler, I'm looking forward to testing both head to head and measure results with the Labradar

I have had lots of one hole groups over the years with loads dispensed from my Hornady version of the Chargemaster, and if I get some big cash along the way, I might try out one of these new units. Perhaps they will be faster in a couple of years

I don't think that you will disappointed. I too had a chargemaster (but for only 10 years).
Upgraded early last spring to the FX120i with the V3.
Often, the chargemaster would vary my 308 loads as high as 0.08 grains of Varget

My friends who have vast knowledge of electronics told me that I apparently have "dirty power" in my house.
So I had to invest in one of the those constant power sources (backup battery) to clean it up.
My scale was drifting a LOT and acting erratically before I did this.

Old extreme spreads on the Magnetospeed with the Chargemaster were in the 15 to 25 FPS neighborhood (15 round string)... the new range is 10 to 12 FPS thanks to the FX120i, and I have seen as low as 7 FPS.

Definitely ut has upped my game in F Class T/R this past season.... And I spend about 1/5 of the time at the charging area of my bench that I used to...once your setup, its much faster than chargemaster.
