rcbs pro 2000 or dillion 650 ??

Dillon is a great company, excellent press, excellent warranty (lifetime), and excellent customer service. Hornady LNL press is another worthy press to buy.

I would get both :)

dillon. I have a 550b that had loaded piles of ammo before I got it. I loaded piles of ammo through it since. The ammo it produces is as good as I can do on my single stage, and can be done fast and smooth.

I keep meaning to get a dedicated 223 650.

anyone have the rcbs? is it really that bad??i have the rockchucker and i love it but it's abit slow if your doin 1500 rounds of 9mm at one time

I've seen them in use on youtube. Looks like it does the job just fine, but I'm just used to my Dillon 650 with case feeder. I also think the priming system is easier to load on dillons than the rcbs. I'm not even sure if there is a case feeder for the RCBS, I know there's a bullet feeder. Also, I think the RCBS 2000 is a bit more expensive than the Dillon 650.

I've had one for over 20 years and it has served me well.

you guys are pushin that blue stuff pretty hard on here,i'm just wonderin what it would really do up against the Horandy LNL or RCBS PRO2000 with auto ,anyone have both or one of these and a blue?so we can have a real comparsion with real hands on facts.

I was fortunate to be given a dillon when I got into shooting heavily on my own. It was used for I forget how many 10s of thousands of rnds before I got it, and I piled many more through it. It has never failed.

Since then, I bought a rockchucker to accomodate the WSM case. When I did, I tried to compare the accuracy of my well used 550b vs the rockchucker, and found no measurable(by me) difference in performance other then the shells from the 550b took way less time. The rockchucker is now in a box.

As to vs the LNL or Pro2K, they may be just as good, I don't know. I have yet to meet anyone who volume loads that uses them first hand. They may very well work though.

Most guys have loaded with a variety of stuff. Dillon works. No one is pushing it on you - buy whatever floats your boat.
