Can you use rcbs shell holders on a hornady press

Hey thanks for all the help I bought rcbs holders and they work just fine

I believe so. As far as I'm concerned the manual presses all use the same shell holders.

For example I'm using both Lee and RCBS on my RCBS.

Similar to dies, they fit them all.

The major players use the same shell holder and die dimensions.

You can use any shell holder in any brand of press. The caveat to this rule is with the hornady shell holders. If you use any Hornady products that use a cam lock feature, like the case prep center or I believe the case trimmers, you must use hornady or I believe redding shell holders as the hole in the middle is about 1/16" bigger to make there product proprietary to them. With that being said, if you don't ever plan on buying hornady tools, buy the lee and save the money for extra bullets.

i baught lee dies with included shell holder, the shellholder works fine in rcbs press but the taper in the lee shellholder on the bottom won't work in rcbs priming tool. I had to wait a week to get one from town. Hope this helps..
