RCBS trim mate case prep center

I was looking at the RCBS case prep center
can it be used for case trimming for length contro? does it take the case length gages?

It is not set up to do so but it has been done. Search it out on Youtube, there was a video that someone put on there that had modified a Lee trimmmer to screw onto the case prep center.

I got a local machinist to make a holder for the LEE case trimmer as it's hardened steel and hard to work. It wasn't cheap, but it works well.

all as I did was drilled out the cutter tapped it to the proper thread , found a screw with that thread cut it to fit , half in the cutter half in the rcbs and walla

I love mine and have trimmed thousands of pieces of brass with it, worth every penny compaired to other manual options....

are you using the lee case length gages?

And how about using these machines to remove military crimps?
Has anyone done it here?

It's like a short sleeve with a threaded stem that the cutter fits into. 8/32 thread if I remember right. I'll have to pick up some batteries for the camera and then post a pic.

I haven't personally, but I have a friend who has.

He has never complained about it.

I bought one too, but it's still sitting in it's box.

Are these holding up with the case trimmer in them? I really want one for Christmas!

I just finished trimming over 3000 rounds of various calibers that I had stock piled. Never going to do that again. My poor drill sounds AWFUL

Case prep sucks.
