Greetings
A unique issue reared its head today when I was trimming brass -
I am using a trim pro trimmer, manual not electric, on lapua 260 brass - I set the 3 way cutter up to size brass, then set the inside chamfer cutter, then set the outer chamfer cutter...
The issue was when doing some brass, the cutter head was gouging one side of the brass, and doing as it should on the other side. I checked the holder, and it was as it should be, brass was sitting tight against the base. I re-did all my settings on the 3 way cutter, and once again the same issue with gouging one side and even cut on the other - it was definitely noticeable when turning the trimmer handle, very rough...
Is it possible that the problem could be with the brass? I did 4 other calibers, and not one issue - just with the 260.
Any tips or suggestions on how to deal with this?
Thank you
c
