RCBS vs Hornady

......last comment was on how the Hornady manual was not as detailed as the Nosler that came with the RCD and that the Nosler is a must for each reloaded but not so much for the Hornady. I suspect that was based on the writers bullet preference than anything else though.

You can get Nosler reloading data on line.

My buddy has the Hornady LNL set up. The digital scale doesn't like to hold its zero. My latest Cabelas flyer has the RCBS kit for a good buy.

My vote goes to the Rock Chucker for rifle loading and the Hornady progressive for pistol reloading.
I tried loading 223 on my Hornady LNL but kept breaking de-capping pins. I concluded that the press just wasn't heavy and sturdy enough to do the job. I now deprime and size 223 up to 270 with an old heavy Lyman single stage. Case is centered in the shell holder ram and directly in line with resizing die. To finish reloading my 223s I use the Hornady, first seating and then crimping the 223 bullets.
