Gents:
I have a No4Mk1* 1943 Longbranch in my posession that I wish to sell. I have been aquiring some Colt AR15 rifles lately, and seem to have stopped taking the Enfields out of the house.
The Longbranch is MP marked on the receiver bridge, however does not appear in the list of serial numbers in Klanchers book. I believe Mr Klancher does not have an exhaustive list, and the MP is fused in one stamp. It appeared the same as an earlier rifle I sold that was listed in the book.
Bluing is exc, as well as the walnut furniture. The rifle is all Longbranch. As I recall, the bore is shiney with no pitting. I am at work right now, so will check later. Correct Canadian Sling. LB marked magazine. Price?
I also have a Cooey Model 82 with Canadian markings, sling swivels, correct metal, and the full walnut stock. It is in exc condition overall and is complete with the rear peep sight. There are no handling marks on the stock. Price?
I can post pics Monday night when I am home.
