rcmp winchester value?

I have a lead on an unfired rcmp commemorative winchester, apparently the one that only an officer could buy...

any body have any idea what this would be worth? cant seem to find info on value.

Gun is 9.5 outta 10

Has the rifle been fired? If so, then it is worth about what a used .30-30 would be worth.
Sorry, these things were pumped out in large numbers numbers and as far as I'm aware only hold thier perceived value if new in the box unfired!!

somtimes the box is worth more than the gun

If the serial # starts with RCMP it's the model anyone could buy.If it starts with MP it's the model only members were able to buy which has more value.Get the serial # off the guy and go from there.He only has to give you the letters and a couple #'s and you'll know which one it is.
