I took apart my Norinco M93 to do a cleaning. Ok. But now I'm trying to re assemble the puppy but the slide spring is sprung and I can't figure out what retains the spring in its cylindrical housing after I compress it. Does anyone have a photo of the inside of the slide and can forward it to me via PM so I can see what it should look like when it's sitting compressed and ready to put together? Any other help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

Thanks . That was exactly what I needed to know. The search engine on this site...well...a little on the poor side. Now I gotta figure how do it. A couple of tries for sure.

I had a similar problem this video on youtube may help.

On mine the asembly lock clip that holds the recoil spring guide for teardown bent upwards so it wouldn't completely fall away to release the spring on reassembly took me a while to figure out what the problem was.
Fun 22 to shoot though mine shoots everything I put into in including the cheap whitebox stuff.

Cheers

Took it to my workshop and clamped the slide in a padded vise. Used 2 small screwdrivers to compress the spring and a small hooked pick to lift up the clip...and Bob's your Uncle. 30 second fix. Before that I tried for over 2 hours and knew it had to be a special tweak.
Thanks all

Did it without instructions of any kind, took around two and a half hours. Next time it is not coming apart that far lol never never ever take the frame and trigger group apart, was much worse than the spring in the slide imo
