This gun is a Ruger #1 in 405 Winchester and would like to know if it can be re-chambered to accept the 416 Rigby? What do you guys think?

Regards,

If it's too much money and work involved then I guess it's not worth it.

--This gun was cheap but I didn't like the caliber, to have it re-chambered to the 416 was just a thought!
Thanks guys,

I would suggest that you shoot a #1 in 416 before you buy one. Many of these are sold before a box of ammo thru them. Speaking from experience here, I had one, bought it like new, poor trigger, serious recoil, traded for a Ruger bolt in 416 and all is well. Mark
