Re chambering barrel ,any suggestions??

I have a barrel off a buddy's demoed rifle and it is marked 7.62 NATO. I don't really want to have to use this an want to reload for it so I was thinking of doing a rechambering into something else. I want to use it for Moose hunting ,coyotes and some range work.

Any suggestions will be helpful and appreciated Thanks.

What action do you plan on using? Being a .308 now limits what it can be made into. Without making it a .30 caliber magnum, you could make it a 30-06 Ackley Improved.
