Re-finishing the stock of a Stevens 200

Whats the best thing to use for this? I have heard of guys using box liner coating??...Krylon?? Whats the best way to apply the stuff? Any help appreciated.

Interested in especially the box liner type coating.

Try sanding it down and using linseed oil to bring out the grain.

Most folks just shave off the mould lines and spray away.

Go to Canadian Tire and pick up a can of Duplicolor truck bed liner. They're 10 bucks a can.
