Will parts interchange between these two 12 gauge guns?

Barrels
Folding Stock

My Ithaca has a serial numbered barrel, and I was told that that means it is fitted to the gun. Anyone know about this?

Does anyone have a 20" or so older(as in ancient) Ithaca M37 barrel for sale? Pistol grip stock?

I was talking to the guys at Marstar about this yesterday and they said the Norinco parts should be interchangable.

I have a 23" ribbed barrel for sale if you want it. The are not specific to each gun.

I remember one of the Canadian companies had folding stock for the Ithica but can't remember which one it was.

Is your barrel pre 855### as in interrupted thread 1/4 turn, or newer setup?

The Norinco folding stock fits right on to an Ithaca M37- it's a nice stock too.
Note that the top profile is perfect but the bottom profile is off a bit, which doesn't really matter.

The interrupted thread barrels from the pre-855000 m37's are definitely not interchangeable with the Norinco varieties...or any post 855000 barrels for that matter. They have the interrupted threads explained above which do not match the newer model threads. If you need a replacement barrel for your receiver, you'll have to find a pre 855000 barrel as well and get it fitted by a gunsmith. The smithwork involves cutting the shoulder and or the end of the barrel as required to get a proper fit. Then recut the rim as needed to get the correct headspace. How much it costs is entirely time dependent...them good folks at ReliableGun in Vancouver quoted me for 15-90$ for this work, depending on how close to a fit the replacement barrel is.

Wow, that actually looks like a great rig...norinco synthetic folder searching I go! How about the forestocks, anyone?
