I've got a 12.6 Glock 23 that I'm thinking of adding a restricted-length replacement barrel to. What's the process for getting its classification changed? If I remember correctly the old prohib-length barrel has to be destroyed--is that correct?
Thanks, Griffoneur--that's what I thought. How do I kick the process off--do I contact the CFC?Yup, barrel has to be turned in for destruction. Also, you can never go back to a shorter barrel. It is forbidden to go from restricted to prohib, its a 1 way trip only.
After I purchased the pistol I found out that the chamber had been modified in a way that I considered to be unsafe so I did not want to sell it to anyone else in that condition. You couldn't have sold it to someone who has 12(6)?

No, it does not.
You can sell it or give it to someone else who has one of those pistols.
