Re-snipering the mosin 91/30 PU ex-sniper

Can someone share the step-by-step, detail information of how to re-sniper the mosin 91/30 PU ex-sniper?

I know a lot of people saying that it is very difficult to re-sniper, expecially when the scope holes were welded and machined down. So, this can be done, right? for those people whn've done it, could you please share your knowledge?

Resnipering the Nagant, It's been posted quite a few times on Gunboards.

It has been a question posted here many a time too. Use the search function. I've re-snipered an ex-sniper and I am a total amateur. Is it difficult? Yes. Did I break the tap on the last hole? Yes.

It still worked. When the tap broke I had just finished getting through the receiver.

Welds cannot be drilled through generally. They need to be ground away.
