Hello all. I have a Savage 10FP in .223 cal with the Choate stock designed by Major John Plaster. I like the rifle and it's a great shooter, but I don't care much for the stock and am considering putting a conventional style synthetic stock on it if possible. Can anyone make a recommendation as to where to get such a stock. Thank you very much to anyone who can offer some advise.

Ther is a new hs precision for sale in the ee right now.

Well it's not a synthetic, but have you looked the XLR Chassis? I got one and I am really happy with it. It's pretty modern looking but very sweet.

I dealt with them direct and Kyle, one of the owners, was great to deal with.

Me like. It's at the gunsmith now for a conversion to .260 Remington, and it's going to be bedded too, so I can squeeze every last ounce of precision out of the rig.

That looks like a wicked piece of kit! Post some pics here when you get it back! What did it set you back with shipping/tax?
