I had one of those back in the day....It will not be "considered a mauser action"...it also has that unique ovoidal floorplate....you can buy a semi-inlet from one of the standard makers...but that won't be cheap...or a second hand stock...but what of the old stock?...if you hate it, why not just cut it down, re-shape it and checker it....not so hard to do if you have some time and patience....farm out the checkering if you want. I got rid of my BSA Stutzen .30-06 because it was just so darned heavy...no way a "stutzen" should be a log......and it wasn't the wood....or the alloy floorplate...Its the steel: that is one massive steel receiver...and it weighs a ton.
