Re-use bullets pulled off with a kinetic hammer?

Is there a problem to re-use some bullets that I removed from a shell with a kinetic hammer? I've made a mistake, wrong powder. I had the time to do 12 of them before I realized the mistake... The bullets aren't so scratched, so I think that theyre OK...

What do you think?

They will be fine.

I do suggest you neck size the cases before you reload them. (Just take the decapper pin out of the die stem)

You think that the next seated bullet will be loose?

I just load mine up and shoot them, I never really noticed a difference between them and anything else.

No, it won't be loose but may have slightly different neck tension than the rest of your batch. It probably won't make any great difference in the long run but it is quick to do and won't hurt anything.

No need to resize the necks. They will fit perfectly tight the next time, also.

Done it several times, with weak loads. Removed, reloaded and shot same group size. No problem I can see, other than maybe a long distance shot, then it might.

I've never resized the necks. Just reloaded and they shot fine.

Reloader's do it all the time. When I am not happy with the cartridges at the range I will save them for bullet pulling and reloading again at home.

hey, that's kind of the point of the kinetic bullet puller no? if not to reuse the projectiles, why bother being nice to the bullet?

Thats why I bought my kinetic hammer, I could use pliers if I didn't want to save anything.

The Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller is the best I've found

Don't worry about the scratches, thousands of pounds of pressure and burning gas is about to scratch and squeeze the crap out of them at supersonic speeds. They're fine

most of the rounds I pull are crimped so I will resize brass

PULLED BULLETS, depends on what you want to do with them. I would not use them for hunting or target shooting, set them aside and use them for fire forming brass.

^^ That makes two of us!! I don't resize the necks, however.

I have had to remove wadcutter bullets from .38, so kinetic is pretty much the tool, but I use collet puller for rifle. I recently bought a collet for .338WM to pull a few bullets from some reloads that came with a trade. Not going to play roulette there!
