Well its come to this.....
I have had a bugger of a time finding Small Pistol primers...or they are asking $35 bucks per 100 YIKES, not kidding.
or by the time I see them advertised,....they are gone.
So,,,,I have a bunch of brass I cleaned and primed a couple years ago. Calibures I am not using any more.
So I am slowly and carefully taking the primers out and re using them in my 9mm casings.
It seems to be going fairly well. I DO have my safety goggles on ! I have had primers Blast off before.
any way,,,most seem to Press in alright into the new cases.
I have a failure rate of 3 "no goes" out of 50. they must be distorted just enough from them being pressed back in.
They seem to work. shot a hand full of rounds... primers stayed in.
I DONT recommend doing this ! But ya gotta find a way around these things nowadays.
I personally would not try this with a rifle round or magnum pistol.
