I know we've argued about them before, but there seems to finally be some definitive proof. For those who doubted such a beast ever existed, I'd direct your attention HERE. It may not be the showiest 1911 out there, but there is a certain elegance to a plain jane, mil spec model.
 
Wilson used to build all of his own braded guns on 'rinco's, before the ban, then he had Kimber supply his frames and slides. There was an article in Americaqn Handgunner.
