(READ for SPEED updated) How long does a Restricted Transfer take in BC Currently?

Ya, I run out to the mailbox all like :) and keep coming back all :(
I recieved a letter from the CFO yesterday saying they had approved the transfer and that the registration would be soon. I've had the gun for a few days already and it took a few to ship.

Can definitely relate to the :) :( thing, lol!

When my CZ shipped I called and arranged a STATT just in case I needed to go to the Post Office, they emailed it to me within a couple of hours along with my Notice of Transfer.
I finally got the Registration Certificate today :D Interesting that it shows that the transfer was done January 5th but the Certificate was printed January 17th..you'd think they could do it all at the same time and just drop the darn thing in the mail

I also got a call from the store I bought my S&W M&P 22 pistol from, transfer was initiated December 21st and came through today :D I let him know that I would call and apply for a STATT so I could pick it up tomorrow and he told me not to bother as one was sent with the notice of transfer as well as a photocopy of the Registration Certificate. After all the waiting and frustration today was totally like Christmas for me!

I'm off to the range on days off this week..finally! :dancingbanana:

Good luck Zeer, may Monday's mail be kind to you!

Yep. Today was nice.. recieved my reg papers for the AR and my gsg showed up from wolverine!

Awesome! Congrats!

Picked up my S&W M&P 22 pistol on Sunday, turns out there was just a Notice of Transfer with it so am waiting for Canada Post once again for the Registration Certificate. Not so bad this time around as I can at least take my CZ to the range, which I plan on doing tomorrow! Yay!

Currently waiting on a dealer to personal transfer (been 15 days) and a personal to personal transfer (23 days). Ugh!!!

The wait times for transfers are totally frustrating, and from what I understand mine weren't too bad compared to some of the waits people are experiencing. CZ December 13th to January 8th-27 days. S&W December 21st to January 18th-29 days. The CZ was probably considered personal to personal as it was a consigned gun, the S&W was a dealer to personal.
Good luck Ebladeap, may the paperwork be done quickly!
