I received this pic in an email and I know absolutely nothing about who took it or where it was supposedly taken. Nice looking buck if it's real.

I'd say fake because it is a screenshot. Why would you take a screenshot of your photo, photoshop the screenshot to get doubled text (SaskTel over TELUS) at the top, and email the screenshot, when you could just email the photo?

If you google forensic image you can see if the image was manipulated. It looks like the top part where it says todd and sasktel were manipulated, also the bottom part. I don't see manipulation on the image as the background but for that I would need the original image I am pretty sure.

With the possibility of Photo shopping Ill go for FAKE I think this way because I've been there, done that! By the way the buck on my Avatar wasn't photo Shopped it is off my Uway. Game camera on my farm

I say it's real. The only Photoshopping I see in there is the frame, so to speak, where one has done a screen capture of a cell phone, and then superimposed a different cell phone frame.

Sorry I can't find the original site. but some of the guys buddies removed the memory card from his trail cam and messed with it. A series of pics, last one shows 2 smiling guys, one of them leaning on the wonder buck as well as an elephant and a zebra. And it's not even April Fools day.
