Reality setting in - ammo prices

Yea it will but the prices haven't gone up much except .22 and that is coming down...

You must tell me where you're shopping because outside of old stock of surplus everything I've seen (at least that I shoot) has gone up measurably over the past year and every site sponsor seems to have had posts warning of increased cost in the past few months ;)

Luckily i stocked up 3 years ago on 22lr so i so far have skipped the insane prices
but i still have a place or two to get 223 so i buy that these days
hope the prices come down though will need 22lr eventually

Canam deals, .22 deals when there are some but I have a pretty good stock and local stuff now as I said earlier, federal blue box is great for hunting, marstars hirtenburg .308 for sighting in and will be using home rolled for target! Buy the sales and cheap stuff and leave the expensive gear on the shelf!

I had to replace some reloading components the past couple weeks. Prices are much higher now on powder & primers, than the last time I bought. My price for 9mm jumped from .13 per round to almost .21, and thats using free brass.

A lot of ammo comes from very few distributors as well so that does not help

I picked up CCI .22 300rnd choot em packs at cabelas less than 2 years ago at $19.99. They went to $24.99 a few months later and now cost $38.99. Glad I picked up a few but will not likely buy them at those prices when I run out. Might as well shoot larger caliber 7.62 x 39.
