Nova Scotia has HST.
I believe it only works in provinces that have GST and PST.
If I ordered something from outside BC, the dealer only charge the GST.
score is Canadian made
I saw this coming last year. My two ammo safes are full with just over 7000 rounds of five different calibres. While I'm always open to deals, I haven't seen any in months. I should have enough to ladt me at least a year. I hope things change.
Check your local Walmart, My buddy picked up there last 6 boxes of federal blue box 243 win 100g for $22.97/box.Winchester 223 varmint 45g is $28.97/40.Good prices. My lgs still has federal are tactical 223 55g $51.99/100
I'd be quite nervous if I had that little.
I really hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling the next year or two is going to be rather costly for us shooters!
Even reloading components are getting pricey!
Similar here, I am close to finishing the gun room/man cave. I got a work bench on sale at CTC $159. It can hold 1000 lbs supposedly but I will be doubling the top where the press will go, it's taking longer than I planned but I am getting there!I have ordered a chitload of Campro from CanadaAmmo. I an finally going to build my bench and mount my Redding single stage and Hornady progressive presses.
Like I said, the dollar is above $.75 and slowly rising, oil is rising so things are coming around, ammo shouldn't go up any more and actually if things keep improving it may go down!
The dollar is slowly climbing, estimates are around $.80 in 8 months to a year!!! Unless something crazy happens, that should help a bit!
I think you might be waiting a while for that -- the expensive ammunition manufactured and shipped during the lowest the dollar hit is in the system now and will likely be in inventories for a while. That and the fact that ammunition continues to sell at this price point demonstrating that we may be cost conscious, but we'll buy nonetheless.
I hope I'm wrong. I can coast through this year on my reserves but next year will see less shooting if prices don't drop.
