That gun is actually an A guage if it is really 2" bore. Over 1" they go from P to A with A being the largest. The largest that I have shot was a 5 guage with a bore of .95 and 3 oz of shot x 8 1/2 drahms of powder (230 gr). While the recoil concentrates your attention, it is more of a tremendous shove and you can get used to it.
