Hey Gang

I just wanted to say what an amazing resource this websight is. I have been a member of this sight since 04-29-2011 and have used it extensively. The first rifle I ever fired was the good old FNC1 A1 7.62 mm gas operated Magazine Fed rifle by fabrique national :) I did have her serial number memorized until the age thing kicked in and I always wanted to own one myself now I have the next best thing in my eyes. I may not post on the sight however I would say that if I have a question it is ussually answered by searching prior posts. I presently own an M305B prior to that I sold one because I thought I should grow up but that didn't last long as I missed the old girl. Presently I have put a boyd stock on her new sights, spring rodspringfield muzzle break and slotted handgaurd. All of this stuff I have bought the rifle Canada-Ammo, Sights springfield, spring rod guide SFRC, Marstar is in there to somewhere and Mystic Precision for my Mount. Every one of the retailers I have dealt with have been great. I read allot of posts from Hungry and would love to get to a clinic sometime however the info I have recieved from this sight has been pretty good. Anyways just wanted to say what a great resource this has bin.

Thanks Guys

Hi Barney. Off topic here, but do you have any plans to bring those M14 clinics anywhere close to Quebec. I know there's a lot of M14 guys up here that would love to go to one of your clinics. Anywhere near the Ontario/Quebec would be great.
Thanks

Barney had a clinic in Petawawa this year(was it this year??). Hopefully he will run one in pet again next year. I know I'll go again.
Pet is like 3-3.5 hrs from Montreal I believe

I just wanna give a '+1' for some of us here in Saskatchewan as well. I really enjoyed the Hungry clinic at CFB Dundurn this summer and am looking forward to more than a one-dayer next summer (fingers crossed). I started out knowing that I wanted one of these things but didn't know much about 'em. The clinic and lurking around here continuously really changed that. The only thing I'm struggling with now is; do I buy a shorty or do I get a Blackfeather for my current 22"? Lord knows I'm gonna have both one day, but which comes first.....?

Thanks for all the help, everyone!

Rooster: Git the shorty right away. I bought one for my son 2 weeks ago from Canada Ammo. Loved it when it arrived. Cleaned it up and got it ready by greasing it up and then test firing (15 thou chamber). Then my son said that he'll just take my 870 shotty instead. So I just sold that shorty M14 to a lucky CGNutter in Northern BC. I like the 2012 bunch of shorty rifles. Very nice, very tight! :D

Then after you get the shorty, think about the CQB style of stock for said shorty! :dancingbanana:

Working on an M14 Clinic for outside the Ottawa area for you QC or Montreal M14 addicts! Hopefully, my pointman at EOHC (club) outside Ottawa will confirm that I booked the 3rd Sat in March. That's what I planning for anyhow.

Cheers,
Barney

Haha figured you were just having a bit of fun. Hey Hungry keeping my eye out for a clinic in southwestern ontario or hook into the one in Ottawa.

Thanks, to all who responded. Now how to get to know when the Ottawa one will be on?

If that's the 16th of March you can colour me there!

I don't want to hijack this thread from the wonderful shorty discussion, but the 16th of March Ottawa Area clinic is NO-Go at this time. :(

Sorry to bring the bad news....

But I am in Oshawa for Sat 30 March! One day venue...

Okay, back to the M14 shorty discussion. I've seen these rifles rock at 500 yards using iron sights and cheeep Norinco ball ammo, at my 2 day M14 clinics where we get you out to 500meters/yards. All great fun! :D

Cheers,
Barney
