Looked all over Calgary, and I can't find a new 686 S&W. Anyone know of a dealer near where they live (other town or province) that will deal with someone from Calgary (some don't like to deal with shipping) on a new 686? My only other alternative is to buy a cheaper handgun, but I want one that lasts my lifetime; hence the 686... help me.

Epps has about 6 of those too (7 shot non-fluted cylinder) for less $$
I am not sure if I dig the non-fluted cylinder.
I like my 7 shot with non fluted cylinder. It tends to disapate the heat from heavy shooting with greater ease. I find my revolver with a fluted cylinder gets hot and STAYS hot longer.

I think I've founf my gun. 686 7-shot with unfluted cylinder from Shooter's Choice in Arrowwood, AB. So far, they have been excellent to deal with. Application is out to a local range right now, then ATT, then shootin'! Thanks to everyone for tips/advice etc. Will post pics when she arrives!
Looks like a good deal. Their price includes GST and no PST in Alberta.
