Hello guys, I recently bought an IMI Jericho 941 Israeli police surplus, is a beautiful gun in great shape, but the sights are a little rough due the use. I bought a Meprolight sights for replacement but now I’m wondering if really worth it? I not sure if this can damage the value or the beauty of the pistol... not big deal but I would like some advice on this, I’m not sure if modifying surplus guns I can damage their essence, thanks folks for your help!!!!

You didn't say so, so I'm assuming your new sights will fit the slide, without any machining. You have nothing to lose by putting your new sights on the gun and I expect that you will enjoy shooting it more. I can't imagine that new sights would take any value away from a police "turn-in" piece. If it's a concern, just hang onto the original sights.
Yes, sights are Meprolight specific for Jericho 941, and no modifications or fitting is necessary to Install them, and actually looks exactly than the originals... I just got the doubt if install an upgrade really can affect the value or condition of my pistol, but at the end you have a really good point... enjoy shooting my pistol is the goal

Change them out and enjoy the gun, change them back when and if you want to sell the gun.
