Can I reload slug or any other kind of projectile in these ?
any idea what kind of load I use or can direct me to a site with different load, and what primer to use?

Those look like the universal hull from those cheap boxes of shells from wallmart. Are they one piece or do they have a white plastic base inside? I hear the bases are kinda hard to resize due to the steel material they use, they are noted for being stickey in some chambers due to expansion of firing.

I have successfully reloaded these types of hulls with 1oz lee cast slugs in WAA12 wads using a Lee LoadAll II. I used 34gr of HS6 & shot them out of a Mossberg 500. Recoil was light & I had no problems with extraction. YMMV

I was thinking of buying some tomorrow but you just make me change my mind, I have plenty of these cheap hulls.

How many times you think a hulls can be fired? and what primer do you use?

Whats a pis spike and no I don't have any reloading book, I have to choose what book to buy. I don't know yet, actually I wanna reload slug casted by the lee mold, that all I wanna do.

Absolutely. I load my slugs with my loadall.

You just have to remove it after seating the wad to put the slug in. Be careful you don't seat the wad too far. It makes the crimps come out bad.

Loaded up 250 of these range pick ups with slugs yesterday. Shot 150 today...
Worked great, they crimp better than my AA hulls with the slugs.

18.5 g Green Dot
Cheddite Primers
WAA12SL Wads
Lee 1oz slugs

Also made up 50 Winchester Target shells by cutting off the crimp and just dropping in the slug. The slugs had to be siliconed in or they would just fall out.

The reloads with the used hulls worked Okay at 25 meters. about a 1' pattern and the cut off crimp ones did not work worth a crap. All over the place, wads were destroyed, pedals torn off. These also did not feed well, because the crimp is gone and the edge of the shells would get caught.

This was out of both my 12" Grizzly's. The mag feed Grizzly really did not like the cut off crimp shells.

I have reloaded Winchester Universal hulls with slugs, just to try them. I don't think I would want to reload them more once though..I have a good supply of AAs that I use over and over.

^^^ I wonder how much the groups would improve from a 18 inch smoothbore barrel

Going to try them in my 870P 18" next weekend. Will let you know how it works out. Going to try and get a Crony by then too.

I will only reload the Winchester hulls the one time.

I just cut open a Winchester Universal hull & a Winchester AA hull. The plastic basewad looks identical to my eye. The outer hull plastic on the Universal hull is .024" thick & the plastic on the Winchester AA hull is .032" thick. That is the only difference I can see. I have loaded Lee 1 oz slugs successfully using both the Universal & AA hulls. Just use the data listed for AA hulls & you will be fine with the Universals. The Lyman Shotshell reloading manual is the best IMHO. Get your hands on one if you plan to continue loading shotshells.
