Ream a factory .280 to .280AI

Is it possible? Is it an advisable way to go? Trying not to buy a new barrel. I would like to get a .280 changed to .280AI. Thanks.

The barrel needs to be set back a little in order for the AI to headspace correctly. If printing and.or sights matter then it is usually one turn set back and refit the barrel and chamber to the correct AI headspace.
