While I agree with you, and own a 257 weatherby with a 26" barrel. There are a few reason to own a 25-06, no need to be over board with most game, feeding a 06 cartridge is easier then a 375hh in most rifles, the bolt face size, already owning dies/shell holders, and it's a lot of extra powder for very minimal velocity.Hi
Don't have 25-06 reamer, but I have a 257 weatherby which I feel is superior.
Thanks
Feeding from a standard bolt head size is a bonus in versatility for sure. Not that it matters in hunting distances so much, but the 257 is a flaaaat shooting bullet for distance. While I agree with you, and own a 257 weatherby with a 26" barrel. When I bought my 257 weatherby mag I was stoked, but after reading about the 25-06 I was kinda disappointed, the 25-06 is almost there with a lot less.
Granted I still have my 257, it's not as hot as I thought in the beginning

Still have?I have a forcing cone reamer, made by Clymer, that doesn't appear to have any use.
I also have a 13/16 x 32 tap, with pilot, made by Clymer, for cutting internal choke tube threads.
PM if you need more information
That was a post from 3.5 years ago.Still have?
13/16 x 32tpi what make of chokes would that be for? That was a post from 3.5 years ago.
The reamer was sold to another CGNer within a few days.
I still have a "live" piloted tap for 12ga choke inserts. 13/16 x 32tpi, H3 grade, titanium coated.
It still looks new and is very sharp. I used it for one set of side by side barrels and for cleaning up threads damaged from neglect, and cross threading.
It was a very expensive piece of kit, even back then.
I could be persuaded to ship it to someone, with proper fiscal encouragement.
13/16 x 32tpi what make of chokes would that be for?

Ok thanks, I have that one already.

Do you want results only for 13/16 x 32tpi what make of chokes would that be for? Winchester Remington? Interested?
The choke size of 13/16 x 32 TPI is compatible with various brands, including Winchester, Remington, and Browning. Specifically, it can be used with choke tubes from Win-Choke, Mossberg Accu-Choke, Weatherby, and Browning Invector.
