This got me thinking again and just how much bounce is created when we put our leather rear bag on our rubberised shooting mat. I iremember one canadian shooter cutting out his mat to allow for his rear bag but i think it was more of a height thing.

you BR shooters do you notice a difference when on a cement slab against using a soft rubber (or other material bottom)

Has anyone tried attaching an aluminum plate to their rear bag?

Thanks
Trevor

When I am working with a rear bag from behind I like a little give but firm, not firm like a skin and bones but firm with a little softness and a bit of surface give but not spongy like a marshmallow more like a rubber ball.Hope that helps!!!
